English Garden

These last couple weeks… you guys.  Birthday invitations, graduation announcements, teacher appreciation signs and notepads, photography sessions, summer crafts – I love being kept so busy!

But it’s left very little – okay, no – time at all for writing.  And I’m working on a pretty big post for next week (eek!).

So today, let’s just take a mental holiday, yeah?  English gardens are magical places; I absolutely love getting lost in them – the ones you’re allowed to go into, that is, as getting lost in a private garden tends to involve being chased by angry residents and shouting and that sort of thing is not at all relaxing.

Where were we?  Oh yes.  These are all in the southwest; Devon and Cornwall mostly, since that’s where I spend most of my time.  And they are as peaceful and completely English as they look.  I’m picturing a wander through one of these, hot cuppa in hand…
